I can talk about this kind of stuff in English. So, bring it on. I think there was actually lots of useful vocabulary and 说法。 （It did cross my mind to ask random persons to guess what I was listening to on my MP3. A Chinese lesson about being abducted by space aliens, sounds just too wierd to be true.)

Amber, Probably, 'Creepy Crawlers', were discontinued before Nixon went to China. So, it doesn't surprise me too much. Any suggestion on how you would describe such a thing? (In case I meet the male speaker in the dialog and we start comparing notes on our comparative, and roughly contemporary, childhood experiences.)

My favorite toy was "Creepy Crawlers". It consisted of molds and bottles of liquid that became rubbery plastic when baked, and an electric heating pad to do the baking. The manufacturer improved on this by making the plastic sweet and edible and called the result "Incredible Edibles". [The molds were of turantualas and cockroaches and such.] Did these things ever get a Chinese name?

I think the literal translation of 我没放在心上 is "I didn't put [it] on top of my heart". I assume the meaning is "I didn't take it to heart".

As long as you are doing flashbacks, I'd still like to get the dialog on when 张亮做冲动的事,比如说他忘带避孕套的时候. 可能为此丽丽和刘翔很快订婚. That sounds like proper soap opera material to me.

I'm curious about the use of 都 in 我都结婚了. It seems that it is being used strictly for emphasis here, but last time I asked about 都 I was told that it is an aggragate partical for a group of things and not emphasis. What is being aggragated here? Thanks.
