1st I wish I would have had this lesson two years ago when I first moved into my apartment. The very first night the toilet would not stop running. A 10NT$ coin found a new use to turn off the water supply and (turn on when needed) for two days.

(Simp.) 试过 shì guò
Can you explain this usage vs. 試 shì ?
I like the new/improved expanded section. I know it still has many bugs. I do hope when it is completed you will bring back the "oh oh" when you make a mistake. I sometimes do on purpose just to hear it. But seriously I think the option of having real time "correct or not correct" is useful instead of waiting to complete all ten. The reason being as Ken would say, see if you can work out what a word is from the characters when you have only a partial idea.
I am not sure it is so easy to do the way it appears the erercises are set up in V3.
