For the purpose of learning Chinese, not taking the test, as I don't intend to take it.
Those sample questions looked useful in terms of sentence construction and I like to learn from multiple sources.
You go on Amazon, there are so many, it's hard to figure out which ones are the best and there's not many where you can look at sample pages. I guess I could go to the bookstore in Chinatown and have a look, but any suggestions?

November 28, 2011 at 2:09 PMI believe that trying to write it physically helps, even if you're just motioning.
It's very similar to memorizing piano pieces. You may not have the music in your head, but if you just try to play it, it comes back. Muscle memory is an amazing thing. Use it.

November 26, 2011 at 9:15 PMTurkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie is what is typical, but since the US is a salad bowl of people from everywhere, variations abound... or no turkey at all.
But some people are stuck eating turkey for the next couple of days which by then, you are sick of. My favorite is pumpkin pie. Kind of like a giant 蛋挞, but denser and creamier.
So how would you say Black Friday?
