December 27, 2011 at 12:10 AM你们好,
“笑容” 跟 “微笑” 有什么差别? 微笑当名词的一个例子:她的微笑/笑容很迷人。这里两个词都可以说吗?谢谢

December 13, 2011 at 9:53 AMAsk a driver in China if they look behind them when they change a lane. You'll find most (all?) do not.
The real danger in China is to ride a bike or to ride a scooter. Spend a day at a Chinese emergency room, and you may reconsider the safety of a bicycle. Cars are much safer, even though the road (and sometimes the sidewalk) is full of wildly obnoxious drivers.
Be safe out there!

November 14, 2011 at 6:09 AMox = castrated already. (though an ox can refer to a male or female. the lucky ladies don't get castrated. for obvious reasons...)
bull = not castrated (yet) aka "intact" ;)

September 16, 2011 at 7:25 AMwomen seem to speak more clearly, but I really like the male actor's voice in this dialogue. he's one of my favorites.

June 10, 2011 at 12:37 PMIn college I suddenly developed a really bad allergy (hives covering whole body) to corn and oats. I later found that in the US these foods are in general genetically modified. After a year abstaining from corn and oats, I began to eat only the pricy organic stuff with no problems. But then again, I've also heard that the organic stuff is still not always as "organic" as they say. Anyhow, lets hope in the future we can come up with some better agricultural methods for the entire world. Hopefully we people are smart and creative enough to solve such problems. and there is always sungazing...
