April 17, 2008 at 5:44 AMChangye, Funny you should mention “洗牌' （xi3pai2).. "shuffle cards" Even after I taught my middle school students the word "shuffle" they still would hand me the cards and say "please wash the cards teacher".. -许尘

I know that when I was in Shanghai getting offered bags, shoes, and watches the odd guy would come up to us and quickly offer "hasish'.. as in the drug. I'm probably of the demographic that actually buys the stuff in China (Early 20's) so I don't imagine everyone had this experience, but I have to stress that getting caught with any form of it in China would be bad news.. Stick to the big fake markets!!! This also works! 啊，你看，在那边有别的老外。。 a, ni kan. zai na bian you bie de lao wai Oh, look. Over there has other old whities.. -许尘
